| “I joined Project Resource in 2006 as it was clear that they were a dynamic company that could offer me the ability to take responsibility for my own career. From day one I have been given help and support to improve; yet the freedom and responsibility to treat my work as my own business.
In 2008 I took 9 months maternity leave, during this time Project Resource ensured that I was fully supported. Although I was removed from the office on a day to day level I still felt included as part of the team. Upon my return to work I was able to be involved in the creation of my new role to ensure it was still working in a challenging and valuable position; yet one that fitted around my childcare arrangements. In addition to this Project Resource have implemented a Childcare Voucher Scheme which assists me with my childcare payments and also saves me tax.”

“I first joined Project Resource in November 2004 and worked here for three years before taking an extended break to travel around the world.
Once I had finished travelling I took time to interview with a number of recruitment and search and selection companies within the UK and UAE. Many of these interviews opened my eyes to the training and autonomy to handle the full inception to completion process that I had previously within Project Resource. My knowledge and level of attainment over the last three years was above many of the people of similar experience within the companies that I was interviewing with. From discussions with the Directors of Project Resource, as a progressive company looking to grow and expand, there was an opportunity for me to head up a new business team therefore I took this challenging but hopefully rewarding opportunity. From my previous experience I knew that the directors had an open and honest approach to their staff and a common goal to develop the individuals and in doing so the company within a long term strategy.
Since I was last employed with PRL they have opened a second office in the Midlands and are continuing to grow. However the economic recession has hit and this is particularly prominent within the building and recruitment industry therefore the company and consultants are obviously less buoyant. The company is still a dynamic sales environment with a low staff turn-over of people who see that this current climate will only help to improve the quality of the business and separate the wheat from the chaff across the industry. The company are continuing to improve their service offering working on top tier PSL (preferred supplier lists) and developing new business streams. My perspective - "Strong companies with good training should come out the other side in a better position than before the recession."
I can see the company continuing to improve its current contingency service offering working on top tier PSL with large clients, this will develop into full account management handling the majority of their technical recruitment needs. Future growth plans will lead to extending our service outside the UK and establishing further offices within the UK and abroad. My part in the company’s development will be in setting up and developing our new division working on senior executive search. This is one of the most competitive areas of the recruitment industry with well established companies therefore it is both an extremely challenging but exciting area to be involved in.” |

| When I joined the company I was £20,000 in debt, so I wanted a job that would allow me to clear my debt and do all the things I wanted to with my life; how else can you buy a house in the South of England? Within 3 years I have cleared all my debt, bought a house and an M3 BMW. Within my role in the company I have developed a market from one individual (myself) to a team of 8, with plans to grow this to 15 people within the next 18 months and open a new office in Solihull for the company. |

With earnings effectively uncapped and progression fully down to my individual performance, it was a rare opportunity to work for a progressive, professional organisation, with the added bonus of being based away from chaos of the city. |

After joining the company with no previous recruitment experience and heavily in debt, I have been surprised with my achievements in the time that I have been here. Now on the property ladder and driving a lavish sports car, I have progressed much quicker than my peers in similar environments and and feel proud of all that I have achieved. The environment is fast-paced, challenging and fun, whilst a full support network exists to help those at early stages in their career to develop into good sales persons.
I have also made many good friends along the way and this has been fuelled by monthly group targets such as go-karting, paintballing and numerous, company-paid trips across Europe (including Barcelona, Zagreb and Copenhagen).
All in all, I am happy with the progress that I have made, and I would recommend this company and job to anyone looking to pursue a career within a dynamic sales environment. |

Project Resource has grown so much since I started (I was the first person to join the company, other than the Directors). With 40+ in the team now, I realise that we are still only just beginning and the best is still to come.
In my role as internal recruiter for the company, I am looking forward to finding more fantastic people to take the business forward. It is great to get inspired by the job applicants that I speak to who are seeking to join us as Recruitment Consultants. I get a real buzz interviewing someone who I know is going to be good at recruitment, and make themselves so much money; more often than not, they don’t even realise just how good they are going to be at recruitment sales.
Having a commission scheme that rewards results, in my opinion is the best way to work, it is good to be able to see exactly what has been achieved, and is very self-satisfying. |

Since joining, I have seen the company significantly grow in size, with a new office being opened in Solihull. As a result of my own progression I have been promoted several times since joining the company and believe the sky is the limit in terms of what I can achieve.
In return for my hard work Project Resource has given me the opportunity to go away with the company on trips to several European destinations which were fun and great experiences. |
