Salary:                       Negotiable depending on experience (Circa £50,000 per annum OTE) plus benefits package.

Due to our success and market offering, we have recently established an autonomous trading division called Strategis who undertake executive search and selection within various industries.  It is within this division that we are looking to recruit an experienced professional who is looking to take a leading role within a growing company and develop themselves to a senior managerial or even Director position.

Outline
This job has excellent potential for development into a senior managerial position within the company as it grows over coming years.  This job will encompass the full 360 search and selection cycle including front end business development and strategic planning.  The successful applicant will work alongside one other person within our Reading office.  The goal is to grow this business, so it can eventually be a stand alone business, with its own Directors and Philosophy.  An existing database exists from which you can start to build your business

We are looking to receive applications from experienced executive search recruiters, who are looking for a challenging long term career move.  The ideal candidate will either have experience within construction, civil engineering or rail executive search or local geographical assignment search (London, South East and/ or Thames Valley) and have excellent business acumen to work within one other experienced recruitment consultant to grow and develop this new division into a premier search & selection recruitment brand.

Responsibilities

• To work within a team of two to establish, grow and develop the executive search division;
• Undertake extensive business development working with existing and new clients
• Meet and conduct presentations to both clients and candidates;
• Management of the recruitment process from start for finish;
• Deliver compelling and professional proposals that generate profitable business;
• Ensure compliance with all internal procedures/ processes, external regulations and legislation;
• Take ownership and liaise with your line Manager, to ensure constructive personal development;
• Assist with the coaching and development of colleagues where required; and
• Maintain comprehensive and current knowledge of your clients, market and key commercial trends.

Essential experience required:

• 4+ years retained or top end contingency recruitment experience (preferably within the building, civil engineering or the rail industry);
• Proven track record of business development and successful billings of over £240,000 per annum;
• Good client facing and presentation skills;
• Excellent networking skills;
• Professional disposition, articulate, high attention to detail, and exemplary customer service approach;
• Outgoing, friendly, focussed and hard working;
• An ambition to develop a business unit and take a lead managerial position within the company future; and
• Experience in training and developing others in a recruitment environment.

Desirable experience required

• Degree qualified (preferable but not essential);
• Managerial experience.

The opportunity

• Strategis is an autonomous trading division of Project Resource Limited, which eventually we plan to separate from Project Resource and run as a completely separate business.  There is an excellent opportunity to grow this business and take a lead management role within the company.
